Overview
The Emerald Eye Rasbora is a beautiful species of Rasbora that originates from the streams and tributaries of Asia. They have an elongated body shape with a prominent dorsal fin. The dorsal fin is yellow in coloration with a black dot in the center. They are a peaceful, schooling fish that will add a diversity of form and activity to your community aquarium.
The Emerald Eye Rasbora needs a well-established, densely planted aquarium with plenty of free-swimming space available. This species does well in a community aquarium with other peaceful and similarly sized species.
An omnivore, this Rasbora does well on a diet of prepared flake food, as well as freeze-dried bloodworms and tubifex.

These fish are one of the coolest fish to own. Although they are quite small, they are extremely easy to spot in any size aquarium as their eyes have a beautiful green glow to them. My tank is 120 gallons and my friends always seem to be able to pick them right out. This is one fish you will love to own.
