Controllable 74gph DC micro pump specially engineered to connect to any HYDROS Drive Port. The HYDROS DC Micro Pump is a HYDROS Drive Port accessory ideally-suited for use with automatic top off (ATO) systems. Once properly integrated to your HYDROS Control aquarium controller platform, the HYDROS DC Micro Pump is powered and controlled by your HYDROS Control aquarium controller. By downloading the FREE HYDROS app, you can control any HYDROS-connected device with your Internet-enabled computer, smartphone, or tablet!
The HYDROS DC Micro Pump is compact and powerful pump measuring just 1.6" L x 1.062" W x 1.45" H. The 74 gph HYDROS DC Micro Pump has a maximum pump head height of 8 feet while drawing a maximum of just 4.5W with an average life expectancy of 30,000 hours - over 3 years! When connected to a Drive Port on your HYDROS Control aquarium controller, the controller will supply power to the HYDROS DC Micro Pump, so no additional cords or power bricks are required for operation.

HYDROS DC Micro Pump Application Example
With a HYDROS DC Micro Pump and a HYDROS Optical Water Level Sensor (or Float Sensor), you can use your HYDROS Control aquarium controller as an ATO system. Just plug your HYDROS DC Micro Pump into a HYDROS Drive Port and the HYDROS Optical Water Level Sensor into a Sense Port on your HYDROS Control aquarium controller and adjust your settings using the HYDROS app. You can add additional HYDROS Optical Water Level Sensors and/or mechanical float sensors to your ATO configuration for redundancy or to set high/low points to suit your specific aquarium needs. Once properly configured, the water level sensor(s) can be set to "tell" your HYDROS Control aquarium controller to refill or top off your aquarium employing the HYDROS DC Micro Pump placed inside a reservoir of fresh, clean water for aquarium use.
