Customer Testimonials

TLDR: Read the instructions, take your time, put in the effort, and use the proper tools properly. If you're not a DIY type of person, don't bother. All the bad reviews I've seen seem to be made by people lacking in effort or knowledge of tools. While designed for the RedSea aquariums they will certainly work for any other brand, barring curved aquariums of course. This kit comes out very clean and professional looking. You'll need a hack saw with a fine metal blade, a miter box for your saw, some clamps, a bit of sandpaper, and a fresh razor blade. The kit comes with everything else you'll need. Cut your frame pieces two at a time if they're going to be the same length, and clamp them while you're cutting. Be sure to use the miter box for clean straight cuts. Use the sandpaper on a flat surface to clean up the cut ends. While using the roller to attach the net, your technique is far more important than how hard you're pushing. Try to push the center of the rubber tubing while avoiding the net, you'll snap your net strings if you push down on them. Don't try to roll one long piece around all edges, cut it at each corner and pay attention to how your net is lined up. If you take your time and put in the effort, it should come out very nicely. I am very happy with this product.
