ORA® Oceans, Reefs and Aquariums LPS Frag Pack is a collector's delight featuring a selection of colorful, "designer" aquacultured large polyp stony (LPS) corals including one each of the following ORA corals: (1) Red Goniopora Flower Pot Coral (Goniopora sp.), (1) Duncanopsammia Coral (Duncanopsammia axifuga), (1) Sprung's Stunner Coral (Echinopora sp.), and (1) Metallic Green Galaxea Coral (Galaxea sp.). This ensemble of truly aquacultured specimens instantly elevates any reef aquarium landscape with exciting colors and diverse shapes for a distinct and vibrant display.

With the ORA LPS Frag Pack you can be assured of receiving some of Oceans, Reefs & Aquariums finest aquacultured coral frags. ORA's professional team hand selects each of the four aquacultured LPS species to ensure you receive a prime mix of their popular LPS coral frags.

The ORA LPS coral frags will thrive in a variety of lighting conditions, ranging from power compacts, T-5s, powerful LEDs and up to the more intense metal halides. The ORA aquacultured corals satisfy the majority of their nutritional requirements by means of photosynthetic, symbiotic zooxanthellae algae hosted within its body. Under the right conditions, the growth rate of aquacultured corals is more rapid than most of the other corals found in an established reef aquarium.

To maximize their growth rate, it is imperative to maintain a high pH, alkalinity and calcium levels, and to keep phosphate and nitrate levels as close to zero as possible. If conditions are ideal, these corals can also be cultured and grown into a new colony from living fragments or broken pieces. Be sure to provide sufficient space between ORA LPS coral frags and neighboring corals.

Along with lighting and water quality, ORA LPS coral frags prefer medium to strong, intermittent water flow within the aquarium. This is best accomplished with a wave maker and multiple powerheads. ORA LPS coral frags receive the majority of their nutritional requirements from photosynthesis, but will benefit from the addition of zooplankton or foods designed for corals and invertebrates.

These ORA coral frags are attached to a aragonite plug and can be easily placed in holes or between the rockwork of the reef aquarium.

Approximate Purchase Size: 4 individual corals; 1" to 2"
