* 2-part ionically balanced liquid calcium and buffer system
* Achieve ideal calcium levels while maintaining proper alkalinity
* Great for all marine aquariums, especially reef aquariums with higher calcium demands

Ionically balanced, 2-part calcium and alkalinity system for convenient supplementation. When used together in equal amounts, Tech•CB Parts A & B safely raises both the calcium and buffer level in all marine aquariums without causing calcium levels to get too high or alkalinity to drop. Phosphate, nitrate, and gluconate free. 16 oz treats 1,900 gallons. (Part A and B both required.)

Add 10 ml per 40 gallons aquarium capacity of Part A and the same amount of Part B each day until target calcium level and alkalinity are reached. Never mix Part A and Part B together, add separately into aquarium in an area of high water flow. Add Tech•CB Parts A & B in the morning to prevent overshoot of pH. (Cap on the 16 oz. bottle equals 5 ml; Cap on the 64 oz and gallon size equals 10 ml.)

Some cloudiness may be observed. This should go away rapidly. If calcium level is at target but alkalinity is low, then reduce the amount of Part A you are adding by 50% and double the amount of Part B until the values are at the target level. Then proceed as directed. If alkalinity is high, reduce the amount of Part B, etc.

Considerations for Use:
A pH of 8.0 to 8.3 and an alkalinity of 2.9 to 4.0 mg/L (8 to 11 dKH) is recommended. Calcium level should be maintained between 400 and 450 ppm. Test calcium and alkalinity and adjust the recommended dose for your particular system. Do NOT exceed 1/2 ml per gallon per 12 hour period. If you use Kalkwasser simultaneously with this product, use half the recommended dose of Kent Tech•CB. If you have trouble maintaining calcium or buffer level, check to see that the salt mix you are using has seawater level of magnesium. Low levels of magnesium result in low calcium solubility and poor buffering. If magnesium is low, use Kent Tech•M Magnesium.

Part A: Deionized water containing the following ions: calcium, chloride, magnesium, strontium, bromide, lithium, rubidium, nickel, chromium, zinc, copper, cesium, iron, manganese, cobalt.

Part B: Deionized water containing the following ions: sodium, potassium, bicarbonate, carbonate, borate, fluoride, iodide, molybdate, selenate, vanadate, and tungstate.

General Information
Each Tech•CB Part A and Part B is half of a ionically balanced, complete calcium and alkalinity control system for all marine aquariums. When used simultaneously in equal amounts, the system will raise both the calcium and buffer level in the aquarium. Contains over 56,000 ppm of cationic calcium, predominately in the form of calcium carbonate, Tech•CB will produce an ionic residual with the composition of natural seawater.
